To the tune of, according to Google Maps, 501 miles. Madison campground in Yellowstone to Spokane, WA via Bozeman, MT. And now we're safely housed in the Super 8 motel, riding out another monster thunder storm. Highlight of the storm: watching a guy pull in to the parking lot in his dumptruck, park the truck, then open the gate and tip the bucket (bed? dump? Whatever they call that part of the truck...) to dump out all the water that had accumulated therein. And that was a good chunk of water...
Tomorrow we're off to Walla Walla for a few hours, then home to Seattle. Whew!
